1972 Chevelle SS 454 Chevrolet
When General Motors eventually withdrew its strange limitation on engines larger than 400 cubic inches for Chevy vehicles in 1970, the
Bowtie quickly dropped a monster 454 into the Chevelle, creating a vehicle capable of competing with Hemi-powered Mopars on the
street. In 1972, the 454 engine had lost about 100 hp, leaving it unable to keep up with even slow station wagons and small cars in a drag race.
There's no reason not to put a Hellephant into a tragically underpowered, but otherwise cool, 1972 Chevelle SS; everyone knows
the '72s are slow, so it would be a great sleeper ride. Swapping any engine from another manufacturer, or for a modern one,
